Shooter.net: Attack of the SF Muni Fare Inspectors. The Fare Inspectors tried to prevent me from taking photos under threat of citation. When I refused to stop, they tried to cite me but couldn’t find any relevant code, regulation or law to cite me. Enlisting the aid of the SFPD and BART Police officers also yielded now results. No citation was issued.
The never-ending balance between civil liberties and security goes on. Somehow, fare inspectors writing tickets does little to quell my fear of being attacked by terrorists.

There seems to be an attitude that has developed among government officials that any action they take can be justified by invoking 9/11 and that their actions can't be questioned.

I'd say we've been on this path since 9/11, but I'd also say that pushback is now on the rise. You can convince Americans that patriotism requires meek obedience for just so long.

I did actually read all reference material. It appears that Steve has a good story.
With Bush pushing for the Patriot Act ..Steve could have just been tossed into Jail for all we know.. is this a correct ??
No- I cant cite anything..because this is just a questions !!

Jeez, guys, this is small potatoes. Want something to freak out over? The new Federal driver's license standards, aka national ID standards.
The rate we're going, I'd expect to see a requirement for internal travel documents in the next 10 years.
