Take a look at Answers.com, a search engine and (Windows and Macintosh) stand-alone desktop application that returns results from specific information sources ranging from dictionaries to Wikipedia.
I would love to see a Palm OS version of this.

Check out http://www.chatnsearch.com/ .Also a new concept in searching. You can chat anonymously with people searching for similar keywords. Kinda help each other out on their findings.

For a Palm OS product, check out iNoah and iPedia at www.arslexis.com. Not exactly the same but useful.

As you might have noticed Dan, you and this weblog get a nice snapshot on Answers.com (However, it is rather slow at up-dating the trend setters as not the entire Gillmor gang is listed yet ;-)
